New Balance 1300 JP (2010)
Here a few quick pics of my latest pickup, the New Balance 1300 JP made in USA. The 1300 JP releases every 5 years since 1995 but only for the Japanese Market. Rumors say that the 2015 version will also be available at selected New Balance retailers around the world. The release is set for January.
Asics Gel Lyte III Allwhite
Somebody at Asics has finally heard my prayers! Since I’m collecting them I was desperately waiting for an all white shoe. The wait is finally over and the outcome couldn’t be any better. Fortunately Asics did choose the Gel Lyte III wich is one of my favorite models from the brand. I can’t really describe it but there is something magical for me when it comes to all white shoes. I still remember the hard time i gave my mother begging her to buy me an all white tennis shoe. I think it was the adidas Stan Smith when I was around 9 years old. Those Stan Smith’ where white for less than 1 hour and i was mad as hell because they lost their shine so quickly. Now in the age of the several impregnate sprays and with the grown-up care for, I’m pretty hopeful they will stay shine for a bit longer. The materials used are a nice smooth leather and the usual nylon tongue and canvas lining known from most of the inline Asics. For some the Asics Gel Lyte III Allwhite might just be a regular white shoe but for me it is the release of the year from general releases and collabs. The release is set for the 1st of December at selected Asics retailers.
Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared
What’s this? Not a runner? Yeah normally I’m only posting running shoes but this time I just couldn’t refuse. This is my first Jordan since ages because I recently found some love for them, and if the Jordan Brand continues to put out quality shoes like these it’ll definitely not be my last.
This Air Jordan 6 Infrared is one of the most iconic colorways out there for me because of it’s unique and timeless design and not because Kanye West and Jay Z are wearing them.
The original Jordan VI released in 1991 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield and it is the sneaker that Michael Jordan won his first NBA championship in. It’s the first time since the original coloway that the 3m is provided again.
Overall this retro is a really nice sneaker with great materials and it’s setting my hopes high for more future quality releases.
Breakfast at Titelhelden (Asics Christmas Pack release)
Christmas is only a month away and this means it’s time for this years Asics Christmas Pack. Just like last year Asics is releasing a three digit Christmas pack, this time featuring a grey Gel Lyte III and two Gel Sagas in burgundy/brown and green/grey all made of premium smooth leather and suede. To celebrate this special release the good fellas from Titelhelden shop invited their customers for breakfast with self made sandwiches, cake and coffee. I knew before that I was going to see a lot of Asics shoes as the scene around Titelhelden shop is highly applied to the Japanese brand but I was still surprised that nearly everyone was rocking them. Shouts to the Titelhelden crew for the food and drinks and making me and all other guests feel very comfortable like always.
